This particular yacht is the bilge keel version and is ketch rigged. On arrival at the yacht it appeared to be a well used and a functional yacht. Once onboard it appeared to be well maintained. This Westerly 33 is a much-travelled example of these solid, powerful cruising yachts. In the same ownership for over 25 years, she has been used for family cruising, and the present owner also sailed her in the OSTAR single-handed transatlantic race in 2009, finishing third in class.
