Engine has been professionally serviced every winter, with additional oil changes every 100 hours, or so. Ditto gearbox oil. Gearbox replaced 2014.

The stern gear consists of one right handed three bladed folding bronze propeller attached to a short stainless steel shaft. The shaft held in place by an aluminium fixed saildrive leg which then passed through the hull via a rubber bellow to the engines gearbox.
