Selling my 36ft Feeling 1090, currently ashore in Lefkada Greece.
Bought Autumn '24 and immediately stored ashore for the winter. Insurance survey Spring '25 valued at £30k as she was but a list of work needing to be done:
14000 Euros spent during Spring/Summer '25. New standing rigging, new jib furling system, new seacocks, new antifoul etc.. However, the company fitting standing rigging had promised to deal with the area where the backstay attaches which the survey had flagged up as needing strengthening, and they failed to do this. At that stage all the companies dealing with this were booked up for the summer. I therefore placed her ashore again.
The work on that backstay point still needs doing - I can put you in touch with the British-Greek partnership, very well reviewed, who I lined up to do the work (now needs to be left until winter rains have passed)... their quote is Euros 5500. However, as my grown-up children have shown no interest in coming to sail, I have decided to sell.
You are welcome to see the survey from last year.
In theory with the new standing rigging, furler (9500 Euros spent on those two alone) the value should be up around £40k but I am asking much less. There is little movement on the asking price.
