Simon Princess (formerly Grampian Pioneer, Standby Pioneer) was commissioned in 1981 as a standby vessel for the oil industry in the North Sea. In 2015, she was reflagged to NIS – Norway, underwent a complete renovation, and was converted into a modern vessel for the aquaculture industry at a cost of approx. Euro 13 million.
