Design
All the performance and luxury of a much larger yacht is scaled down into this 42'cc model without compromise. Groupe Finot designed her for the best combination of speed and ease of handling while down below, her two cabins and saloon are spacious and exceptionally well-appointed. She has many great features such as Beneteau’s patented folding boarding platform that hides under the aft deck when not needed, preserving her clean lines while underway and saving deck space, yet provides ease of entry to the dinghy and for swimming.
Deck & Cockpit
Topside, the protected helm and well-placed handholds create a secure and practical sailing environment. The spacious cockpit offers easy access to winches and lines, while the opening windscreen provides airflow underway or added protection in challenging weather.
Beneteau’s balanced hull design delivers predictable handling and comfortable sailing across a variety of sea conditions. At anchor, the innovative aft transom expands usable deck space with a drop-down bathing platform, and the integrated gangway makes stern-to docking simple and convenient.
Interior
Stepping below, the interior is bright, open and thoughtfully arranged for both cruising and extended stays aboard. The salon offers generous seating and natural light, creating a welcoming space to relax after a day on the water. The galley is well positioned for safe meal preparation underway or entertaining at anchor. Forward, the V-berth cabin provides a comfortable private retreat, while the aft owner’s cabin features a centerline island berth. Two ensuite heads add convenience for owners and guests.
Systems & Cruising Capability
With ample freshwater capacity and generous tankage, Dee Dee is well suited for extended cruising. Access to the engine and mechanical systems has been carefully designed to simplify routine maintenance. Beneteau’s Center Cockpit models are known for their robust construction compared to many aft-cockpit counterparts, offering sailors a capable cruising yacht that delivers both performance and value.
