At 20ft Upsy Daisy is an ideal size for cruising on the Mon and Brec Canal.

Generally, the boat is in good condition to my eye with just a couple of small gouges in the bow gelcoat that would benefit from filling but these are not essential work.

By this we are saying that externally she would benefit from having the coach roof attended to (inside it appears to be dry and solid but externally it lets the boat down in terms of cosmetically). Similarly the side decks and foredeck would benefit from a coat of grey non slip deck paint.
The topsides are in original gelcoat and would polish up quite well whereas the hull has been painted and (in my opinion) may need a refresh.

Seabird, my twin keel sailing cruiser was built in 1972 but she is definitely not a ‘tired old lady’, having undergone a complete restoration in 2006/7 by her previous owner. She was completely stripped down to a bare shell during the restoration. All fittings and equipment were either completely refurbished or replaced, making her a 52-year-old going on 18!

The boat is a pleasure on the water. The solid 5.5m Tornado hull is a perfect seafaring boat and just glides over the waves at well over 30 knots.
The Mercury 2 stroke 90hp engine has never missed a beat and starts up every time. It had a major service with the previous owner in 2022 where it had one new carburettor and had the automix system taken out as they are known failure point. The propeller is like new.
