Carisbrooke is a charming and spacious 57' narrow boat, with a beautifully fitted interior.
She is a reverse layout with a cruiser stern and has been maintained in superb condition, originally built by South West Durham narrow boats in 2005.
Carisbrooke has been designed with a spacious cruiser stern and a reverse layout so that the open plan saloon is at the back of the boat creating a delightful and sociable living area for a small family or couple to enjoy. She is a well-equipped canal boat with warming coal solid fuel stove, smart TV and Huawei WiFi router included. There is one bedroom with a double bed and a convertible dinette to accommodate additional guests. The galley comes equipped with fridge, Vanette cooker, gas hobs and microwave. The bathroom features a shower, hip bath, Thetford cassette toilet and sink with vanity unit.
The bedroom is in the forward cabin. There is plenty of storage in here, with drawers under the double bed and cupboards over, a wardrobe and second cupboard in the corner.
Carisbrooke has radiators throughout, powered by the stove or engine heating. The hot water is provided by the engine, the stove or the immersion heater.
230v is supplied by the 5kw Victron inverter/charger or landline, and 12v is from the domestic batteries which have been renewed in the last 3 months. Carisbrooke has also been out of the water to have completely new anodes, blacking and new alternator fitted in the last 3 months.
